Some films feature no actors and no dialogue, this is most commonly seen in poetic documentaries which focus more on atmosphere and cinematography than characters and plot-lines.
I have three ideas for short films which would not feature any actors or dialogue and they are the following;
Idea One - City Symphony
My first idea for such a film would be a "city symphony" style short-film, focusing on a bustling city or town like Bath or Frome and spend the day filming the day as it progresses, from sunrise to sunset. This film would add charm and romanticism to everyday life, helping us to take a step back and appreciate our familiar surroundings.
Idea Two - Garden Serenity
On the more tranquil side, having a garden as the subject of a poetic short-film would be a good idea that I would very much enjoy exploring. Finding a pretty flower garden in a place somewhere like Kilver Court and filming it, having an ambient soundtrack play throughout the film would in my opinion, serve as a pleasant poetic short film.
Idea Three - A Walk in the Woods
A reflective journey through a park from a point-of-view shot, taking in the surroundings as a musical score dubs over the journey, offering an introspective take on the day, the surroundings and life itself. Music and scenery would melt together in harmonious unison.
